How to answer your adversary

1 Peter  3:15  But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

Praise the Lord!!

Today we will meditate upon how to answer those who are against you.

It becomes very difficult for a christian to share his joy, peace and hope to someone who doesn't like to listen. We are always surrounded by people who misunderstands Christianity as a religion.

Paul specifically mentioned in this verse how to deal with people who act like your adversary.

1. Sanctification to the Lord

We need to sanctify or set apart our bodies to be used by Holy Spirit so that we can be a worthy vessel to share the Gospel.

2. Ready to minister

To be ready you need to prepare with diligence. You must read the word everyday so that when you share the Gospel, it will talk to the hearts of the stubborn person and S/He will surrender to the voice of God.

3. Meekness and Fear

Here Paul is telling us to share the Gospel with meekness without argument. Many times we enter into argument and doesn't allow the Holy Spirit to work on that person.

So! what do we need to answer to that person?

Show that person your Hope and Joy.

Notice you need to be joyful, hopeful, cheerful in midst of your issues. People surrounding you will wonder and ask for the joy and praise the Lord for his Goodness.

Ephesians  5:19  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Saints, when we display the love, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. You won't need to recite the words from the Bible to tell the world that God is good.

You are the light to the world. people watch you and draw inference. So be careful and mindful about these things and praise God in your tribulation.

God Bless

Resting On His Promise

2 Chronicles 32:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

Praise the Lord

Today we will meditate upon how to rest on his promise.

Hezekiah was a king who followed Lord according to his heart like David.

He was victorious in every battles as he pleased the Lord and removed all the things which obstructed his blessings.

Still, when he had to face a war from Sennacharib. Sometimes we are also in that situation. We do all things to please God and still come in trouble and are afflicted.

Have you wondered why?

These trials and affliction are to test your faith.

So what should we do in this situation?

Hezekiah did these 3 things.

1. Encouraged himself in the Lord
2. Instructed everyone to keep trusting God.
3.  He trusted God with all his heart, soul, and mind.

Saints, today while meditating Holy Spirit has given this promise. He wants to encourage each one of us. Though we will soon reach the end of year. If you hold on to your faith and not doubt. You will see a miracle as it was promised to you. Remember Those who are with you is more than those who are against you. So cheer up, wipe your tears, rejoice in the Lord, Lord is with you.

God bless
