Exodus 26:17 Two tenons shall there be in one board, set in order one against another: thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
Praise the Lord!!!
Today we will meditate upon setting the things in order. God is God of order, he never works haphazardly, confused, without direction. He knows what is to be done, what he is doing. There are 4 references in Exodus where God tells them to set the things in order.
1. Board of the tabernacle.
2. Candlestick.
3. Table of Shewbread.
4. Shew bread.
Why does God wants us to set the things in order? God wants us to understand that setting things in order shows.
1. Mental preparedness.
2. Expectancy of Good things.
3. Knowledge of the Giver.
Psalms 20:5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
1 John 5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
When we enter into the house of the Lord, we must remember that we are entering into the house of the creator of the whole heaven and earth and accordingly our thoughts and request must be big. We must never ask for petty things because that will be fulfilled anyways.
Petition means : a formal written request, typically one signed by many people, appealing to authority in respect of a particular cause.
Notice, when you accept him as a saviour and Lord, he will make you his son and daughter so you are no longer normal but prince and princess. Enemy will always show your circumstances and try to deviate your mind into poverty. But if you have the mindset of Christ, you will have the confidence that he will answer anything you ask him today.
John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Saints, when you ask from the Lord you must remember 3 things.
1. Have faith that he will listen to your petitions.
2. Know that only he can give you your desires of heart in accordance to his will.
3. Be prepared to expect big things from Lord.
Saints when you follow Jesus, you are part of his family, hier to his inheritance. So you can come boldly and ask for all the needs.
God Bless
