Exodus 17:12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
Praise the Lord!!
Today we will meditate upon the first battle of Israel against the Amalekites. Israel left Egypt and Lord took them through a long journey and through the short one so that he could help them to be warrior. And be expert in war, notice something that Lord knew they would need his help and support. Still He made them to travel for 40 years so that they would be experienced in warfare.
Lord delays you prayer sometimes and makes it look that you will be defeated. But Lord is God of Justice he will never leave you Fatherless.
Moses was a man of prayer and was praying for the Israelites and his hands were heavy. Sometimes we get tired praying for the loved one. That salvation prayer and prayer for deliverance seem to hard. Notice how Aaron and Hur held Moses hands up.
What does that tell us.
1. Never stop praying for the deliverance for others.
2. Have a circle of prayer warriors and regularly pray with them.
3. Don't quench the Spirit.
Saints I know it is tough because when your family and friends are under a stronghold of enemies. You may get tired, dejected, frustrated and feel hopeless.
But Lord is a prayer answering God. He will ensure that your prayers are answered and you receive the full promise.
God bless
