Just Obey

Exodus  19:24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get thee down, and thou shalt come up, thou, and Aaron with thee: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

Praise the Lord!!

In this verse we find the true character of Moses. Moses was a man who was very handsome, having vision for himself, had great pride in his people. He would not think twice before murdering an Egyptian for his brother.
Moses had these qualities.

1. Zeal for his brothers.
2. Proud of his culture.
3. Proud of his race.
4. Great vision about himself.
5. Great vision about his people.

But everything was shattered when he murdered a man in his anger and had to flee from Pharaoh's presence. Further he was frustrated when his plans were not working. But Lord had a another plan for him. But before that he had to learn a important lesson to Trust Him.

In the previous verse he was directing God that Israel would listen to Him and that he need not go down and inform them not to come near. But Lord knows us better than we know ourselves. Obedience is a key to please God no matter what you face today. Obey his small still voice as he gives you direction.

Moses learnt to obey and went on to become a friend of a God. Anybody who would offend Moses would have to face God. How was it possible on when we trust and obey.

God bless
