Exodus 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
Praise the Lord!!!
Today we will meditate upon changing God's mind. Every time when I read this verse, I am absolutely awed by the prayer which Moses prayed. He prayed so fervently that God changed his mind.
Israel were obnoxious and stiff necked, unwilling to obey God and his commandments. God had saved them from the Egyptians and showed them 10 miracles; still they refused his favour.
Moses stood in between God and Israel and intreated for them. He sought God reminded Him about the promises He made to Abraham and his descendants. Moses could have easily allowed them to die as they were disrespectful to God.
Saints! Whom does God seek?
Lord is seeking for people who can stand between his people intreating for them.
Ezekiel 3:17 Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
What is the will of God?
It is God's will that none of those who rebel against him should perish.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
How can we change the mind of God?
1. Praying fervently for his people (James 5:16)
2. Having the mindset of God ( 1 Sam 2:35)
3. Leading a Holy life (Roman 12:1)
Saints!! World needs prayer warriors, Christian who can stand against Satan, Prayer warriors who can commit their lives to God, Brothers and Sisters in Christ who can intreat for his people and tell God that they are available for Him.
Isaiah 6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
Are you here to tell Lord? Send me Lord use me for your service.
God bless
